Cheetah time
A rare cheetah sighting after a morning of searching.


A chameleon on the night drive.
We found this guy in the same tree the next day.


African Wild Dogs
These rare canids had found a zebra carcass to feast on.

This male lion made an appearance at the water hole we had staked out.

This mother continued to eat while her calf was smelling the air trying to figure out who or what we were.

The birds were well represented this trip. We spotted over 125 different species.

The experience at sundown with wildlife and a cocktails was magical.

Usually leopards are elusive but on day 4 this female decided she needed a better vantage point to see the opportunities.

These impala were practicing their evasion techniques. Practice makes perfect, repetition builds confidence.

After gently making his way over to the cars, he passed right between our Land Cruisers and down the road.

Up a little early but rewarded with an amazing sunrise during our walk.

Truly sharing space with the African wildlife while being guided incredibly well and safely was an unforgettable experience.

Cape Town
We got lucky and caught a clear sky to take the sky ride on to the top of Table Mountain.

During our visit to the Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens these colorful little birds were easy to spot


African Black-footed Penguins
After a beautiful drive down the coast we arrived in Simons Town and Boulders Beach to this amazing view.

There were penguins everywhere.

After a trip looking for fish, the penguins came back to the beach to feed their young

A beautiful lunch in Kalk Bay after a morning filled with penguins.

Cape of Good Hope
The cape was named because it was the point where sea farers started heading east to the East Indies

Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve
The drive to the cape goes through the reserve. This time we spotted some male Ostrich walking through the brush


Wine Tasting Tour
Touring wineries in the world renowned Stellenbosch region of South Africa was a nice change of scenery
