Day 1: Arrival in South Africa

African Lion Encounters Kuzo Conservation safari 2023
Rhino notching to midigate poaching

Days 2-4: Pilanesberg Game Reserve

  • Three nights at Bakubung Bush Lodge in Pilanesberg Game Reserve

  • Open-vehicle game drives 

  • Hands-on chemical capture of a wild southern white rhino for horn trimming to mitigate poaching threats.

Hands-on Conservation Activities

  • Habituations feeds

  • Telemetry tracking of carnivores like African Wild Dog and Cheetah 

  • Southern White Rhino horn trimming

Days 9-11: Madikwe Hills

  • Three nights at Madikwe Hills Safari Lodge a luxury private game lodge nestled on a hill, hidden amongst ancient Tamboti Trees.

  • Guided Walking Safari

  • Open-vehicle game drives

Day 12: Transfer back to the Airport

  • After Breakfast, road transfers to O.R. Tambo International Airport

  • Departure flights  

  • Connecting flights to Cape Town for optional extension
